Thursday, April 27th – Saturday, April 29th!
Bert Kreischer is a standup comic who performs to sellout crowds across the country. He is the original “Van Wilder”; the film was inspired by an article Rolling Stone published about him. Bert has done a stand up special on Showtime. He was the host of the Travel Channel‘s Trip Flip, the hit Bert the Conqueror, and Hurt Bert. He is a regular guest on The Joe Rogan Experience and The Rachael Ray Show and has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live. His one-hour special Comfortably Dumb appeared on Comedy Central and his book Life of the Party, Stories of a Perpetual Man-Child shares the hilarious and outrageous stories that define his comedy and exemplify what has made him one of the best story-tellers of his generation.
““Here’s the weird thing about me. I was never one to tell you stories about me. I was always the guy who others told stories about… I was like that up until I was 35 years old. And then I started telling stories about me onstage.” – Interview with Reed Tucker, New York Post
“Though he initially rose to fame due in part to a 1997 Rolling Stone article that dubbed him Florida State University’s “top partier,” Bert Kreischer has since made a name for himself as both a stand-up comedian and host of television programs…” – Marah Eakin, AVCLUB
“Kreischer, even in book form, certainly displays a dynamic and entertaining personality” – Jester Journal
“Bert Kreischer is one of the great American wild men. A gonzo warrior driven not by cynicism or a desire to reveal dark truths but instead by a deep, almost essential, need to have a good time-no matter what. His stories track the trials and tribulations of a big-hearted dude trying to fit in, help out, party and find himself. After all is said and done we arrive with him at the true humility of joy.” – Marc Maron
